Annapurna Siklis Trek

08 days

Overview

Siklis is largest, oldest, and most beautiful village in Nepal. It is a Gurung community and is surrounded by five villages (Lama-thar, Dharpang thar, Sabha -Thar, Harpu Thar and Gari thar). Amazing cultural heritage and traditions abound here.  Mud and stone houses are common. The inhabitants are very friendly, kind, and welcoming. Along with the cultural experience, hikers will be treated to the unbelievable golden dawn of the Annapurna mountain range during this trek.  The route begins in Bijayapur Khola and village visits will include Kalikasthan, Lamakhet, Ghale Gaun, etc. The route is mostly in the forested part of Annapurna Conservation Area. One night will be spent in a tented camp, and it will be exciting, yet very relaxing, sleeping in the forest and listening to the breezes in the trees. The final destination will be Pokhara.  This trek is ideal for folks who desire a short and easy to moderate hike.
