Round Annapurna Mountain Biking Tour The adventure dream of mountain biking through the world’s highest Himalayan pass- Thorong la (5416 meters) is a quest for a dream that offers you a thrilling experience. Biking through the Round Annapurna Trail, you pass various ethnic communities and the picturesque landscape of the Annapurna region and the Mustang region, including Manang, Muktinath, and the Jomsom valley.

Round Annapurna Mountain Biking Tour Kicking off the paddle of your mountain bike for the adventure tour around the Annapurna region, it embarks from Besisahar and goes through the bank of the Marshyangdi River valley. The higher you paddle, the more you experience fabulous scenery. Before crossing the challenging Thorong pass, you trek over the steep, rugged trail where our expert guides will help with your acclimatization process. From the Thorong La pass, stunning views of towering Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, Himchuli, Manaslu can be explored from this highest Himalayan pass of the world. Soon, you pass the trans-Himalayan region and descend to Muktinath with an awe-inspiring change in geography. Muktinath temple is a source of positive vibes and sin elimination destination. Mountain Biking through the wide and flat  Kali Gandaki River is a dramatic experience through this world-famous route that passes through various communities in the Annapurna region and ends in Tatopani or Beni.  Walking through the Kali Gandaki River Valley, you reach to Kagbeni and continue to Jomsom.

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu sightseeing.

Our representative of Shiva Excursion Pvt. Ltd. will there receive at the airport for your arrival and transfer to the hotel. A short briefing will be given to you about the upcoming schedule.  Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing.

Our today’s day is spent sightseeing all around Kathmandu Valley. Having a breakfast we will visit Pashupatinath (regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva). Next will be Bauddhanath (Little Tibet). Then Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) is our next destination.  Lastly, we will drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. It will end our Kathmandu tour we will return back and prepare for the tour outside of Kathmandu valley tomorrow. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar.

It's time to drive to Besisahar, in the morning we head towards the bus station and drive through the Prithvi Highway for about 7 hours to reach the district center of Lamjung and transfer to the hotel.

Day 04: Besisahar to Tal. 37.4 km

The first day of the mountain biking through the exciting Round Annapurna trail begins from Besisahar. Kicking the paddle, it follows the main trial of Marshyangdi River. We catch all the magic moments throughout. Passing Syange, we reach to Jagat and cycling via Chamje. Annapurna Himal, Lamjung Himal with other mountain ranges will be fist glimpses of the tour that will be accompanied by the ethnic culture and traditions. We reach Tal to stay. Overnight at lodge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 05: Tal to Chame. 22.6 km

After the breakfast, we begin our journey from Tal, we cross the Dharapani and paddle to Bagarchhap village, surrounded by apple Orchids & maize fields). Heading to Chame, the main route of Marshyangdi River is our cycling path. Glimpses of mountain ranges in our way is so much more impressive. Overnight at lodge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 06: Chame to Manang. 29.7 km

Early morning glorious view of sparkling mountains in rising sun will impress us so much. Having a breakfast, we gonna resume the cycling tour toward Pisang. Our way is full of beauty of nature combined with a panoramic view of Pisang peak in the northeast. Then, we continue toward Manang (beautiful barren land). We get an opportunity to observe distinct landscapes and vegetation of this place. Overnight at lodge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 07: Manang Rest Day.

It is our rest and acclimatization day. We spend our whole day exploring the beautiful Manang valley. The magnificent sights around the village will be so much more impressive. Exploring the absolutely gorgeous Manang Valley with the lifestyle of people living in their own culture that include the ancient monasteries and chhortens. The sidewalk to Gangapurna Lake is brilliant. Overnight at lodge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 08: Manang to Phedi. 19 km

With a good rest at manang,  we will continue our cycling journey to Yak Kharka. We will climb steadily through Tenki Manang. From here we will leave Marsyangdi Valley & continue to Jarsang Khola valley. Reaching Yak Kharka, it offers the scenery of the herds of yaks & vegetation thinning out. Then we continually paddle to the Thorong Phedi, which remains snowy half of the year. We end today's biking at Phedi. Overnight at lodge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 09: Phedi to Muktinath. 22 km

The challenging and incredibly spectacular day begins after the breakfast. It crosses 5416 meters, Thorong La, which is a dream of many adventure lovers. Then paddle down to the Muktinath temple, which is one of the most sacred destinations for Hindu and Buddhist devotees. Overnight at lodge. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.

Day 10: Bike from Muktinath to Tukuche. 32 km

From Muktinath, we continue biking to Tukuche after the breakfast. It's all the way through the Kali Gandaki Riverbank, enjoying the breathtaking view of the dramatic landscape and the snowy peaks. It's through the flat trail and passing Jomsom, we take the bike trip to the Tukuche village and take a rest. Overnight at lodge. Breakfast, lunch, dinner included. 

Day 11: Bike from Tukuche to Tatopani. 42 km

The world-class Mountain biking trip embarks from Tukuche after having a breakfast. Passing through the enticing landscape and the apple orchards. The trail is covered by the Annapurna Conservation Area. Tatopani literally means hot spring, which releases your muscle pain if you take a natural hot spring. Overnight at lodge. Breakfast, lunch, dinner included.

Day 12: Tatopani-Beni-Pokhara.

Today's trip depends on the interest as you can drive directly from Tatopani to Pokhara or take a mountain Biking tour to Beni, the district center of Myagdi and drive further to Pokhara. Overnight at lodge. Breakfast, lunch, dinner included.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu.

We need the return back to Kathmandu.  We get the picturesque greenery of the highway and its surroundings. Not only this, but we can also fly back to Kathmandu as an option. Driving around seven hours we will be in Kathmandu. Then transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel. Breakfast included.

Day 14: Departure.

Spending a rest night in Kathmandu, our airport representative drops you for the departure. Thank you for traveling with us.
