More Than a Trek — A Journey with Family - Shiva Excursion
I trekked the Mardi Himal Trek with Shiva Excursions in April 2026, and it was honestly one of the most wonderful and unforgettable experiences of my life.This was my very first time visiting Nepal and also my very first trekking experience. I travelled together with my sister and two friends, and choosing Shiva Excursions turned out to be the best decision we could have made.From the very beginning, Arjun organised everything so smoothly and professionally. What truly stood out about him was his honesty, sincerity, and genuine care for people. At no point did we ever feel like we were being treated as customers — instead, we felt like family. Arjun always prioritised our wellbeing, comfort, and safety above everything else, including money, which is something very rare to find nowadays.Arjun was accompanied by Suman and Pradeep, and the three of them made an incredible team. They were exceptionally kind, caring, patient, and hardworking throughout the entire trek. No matter how difficult the journey became, they never once complained. They were constantly checking on us, making sure we were comfortable, safe, warm, and doing well physically and emotionally.Arjun is the kind of guide every trekker hopes to have — honest, patient, dependable, and genuinely caring. He has a very calm and reassuring presence, and throughout the trek, he constantly prioritised our safety, comfort, and wellbeing. What touched me most was his dedication and sincerity. Even during difficult moments, he encouraged and supported us wholeheartedly, never once making us feel like a burden. He treated us like family, and that made the entire experience even more meaningful and unforgettable.Suman deserves a very special mention because he was truly one of the highlights of this journey for me. He was always smiling, always cheerful, and always encouraging us with such positive energy. His kindness and warmth made the trek so much more enjoyable and memorable.Since this was my first high-altitude trek, I did struggle at times with breathing and exhaustion. Before we started, I remember telling Arjun, “Please get me to the top,” and he kept his word. During the most difficult moments, Arjun literally held my hands, encouraged me, and stayed beside me to ensure I completed the trek safely. I will never forget his dedication, patience, and commitment. His support gave me both physical and emotional strength when I needed it the most.The entire experience felt less like travelling with a tour company and more like travelling with people who genuinely cared for us like family. That feeling of safety, trust, and warmth made all the difference.Shiva Excursions is a company you can truly trust. They are honest, sincere, and passionate about what they do. Everest base camp
Was a good experience with Shiva excursion. Arjun , who run the company himself came and made all arrangement perfectly. The guide he provide Aising is a very great , funny and caring person. I was down with Ams and he helped me get to doc and arrange all the coordination pretty well. The only point to improve is the tea houses they picked up could have been better but overall I am happy with the arrangement. They tried their best to arrange flight in lukla when it was chaos around due to one day delay as weather condition didn’t allow any flight to take off.Thank you Arjun for all the arrangement and wishing you luck.

Annapurna Memories
I cannot recommend this company enough! Everything from the booking process to the trek itself was perfect. Myself, my wife, and two of our friends did the Annapurna Circuit Trek through Thorong La Pass. It was an incredible experience that I will cherish forever.We could not have done it without our TEAM. Sudip, our guide, was the best. His friendly nature and expert knowledge of the trails were a huge part of the trek’s success. Our porters, Suman and Mangal, also helped us through challenging parts of the trail and contributed greatly to our team effort. Thank you Shiva Excursions for an unforgettable experience! Great experience on a custom solo trekking trip
October 2019 I did a custom solo trekking trip with Sudip for ~14 days in the Langtang and Helambu area. Also Sudip helped me arrange a climb to Yala Peak with a local Langtang climbing guide. Sudip was very easy to go with, everything was well arranged, he taught me a lot of things about the Himalayas and trekking in Nepal. He was very kind and caring- always making sure I had a good time and had everything I needed.Arjun and Shiva Excursion also made a great job planning this trip and making sure we had everything we needed - e.g. good sleeping bags and a solid down jacket - for a successful trip.I would totaly recommend Sudip as a guide and Arjun (Shiva Excursion) to anyone that would want to go on a solo trekking trip in Nepal.

Did a guided solo hike to EBC + Island Peak with this company a few days ago. Everything was smooth & hassle-free. I was well taken care of. Great time at Poon Hill - Ghorepani
Found Shiva Excursion on Facebook and booked with them directly. We did a 'custom' trip from Pokhara to Poon Hill for 3 days/2 nights. Arjun was a fantastic guide, he had great instincts about supporting us during difficult portions of the trek, he was endlessly knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Awesome trekking to gosainkunda and langtang valley
We trekked for 9 days to gosainkunda and then to langtang national valley. It was truly a life changing experience, and our guide Sudip was the best. He helped all of us get through the altitude and kept a very good mood through the whole time.

Annapurna base camp with my friends and it was incredible
I went on a ten day trek to Annapurna base camp with my friends and it was incredible. Arjun, Sudip, and our sherpas made the trek an experience we’ll never forget. We went during monsoon season in July, which is also another reason why it was so special. Even with all the rain and clouds, the sky would clear up for us at some point every day. Our trekking crew showed incredible strength with how much they carried on their backs and the positive, uplifting attitude they had the whole way. There service was amazing and the organization of the trek was on point. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. I really recommend this trekking company for your next adventure. I gained a trip of a lifetime and met the the greatest people I’ll always have the pleasure of calling my friends.

Shiva Excursion led my first trek in Nepal
Shiva Excursion led my first trek in Nepal. Being new to traveling, I was extremely pleased with their hospitality helping us get settled in Kathmandu. Arjun picked our group up from the airport, took us to dine at the finest restaurant in the city and arranged all of our travel plans far in advance. Traveling through Annapurna was breathtaking and we had no troubles on the trail thanks to the expert advice of our guides. While there are many companies to choose from, Shiva Excursion took great care of us which is more than i can say for some of the other guides we came across on our way to ABC. I would trust Arjun’s advice on any trek in Nepal and his positive attitude truly helped us get through some of the roughest weather of the monsoon season. I would say chiefly that Shiva Excursion goes above and beyond to make sure you have a good time immersed in some of the most beautiful places on earth.

My maiden trekking trip was from Lukla to Namche. I was guided througout the journey by Arjun. He was very patient, supportive and helpful. He knew that as a first time trekker, I need all the support and assistance to ensure that I complete this journey without any glitches and enjoy it. sss
