Trek to Langtang Valley kicks off from Syaphrubesi, which is a remotely located town and it takes about 9 hours to drive there by jeep. However, it is a facilitated town, which bestows the trekking route towards Langtang valley, following the Langtang Khola. The route is dominated by the woods of rhododendron and bamboo. The refreshing countryside has got cozy guest houses at a certain distance, which makes your accommodation comfortable. Those guest houses and restaurants on the way quench your thirst and fill up your appetite.
The higher you hike, the typical ethnic Tamang settlements you encounter with. The barren landscape begins to appear and the houses have prayer flags that flutter with the wind blow. The ultimate destination of the Langtang valley trekking schedule is Kyanjin Gompa, from where you can extend your hike either to the Tserko Ri or the lower hill ridge, known as Kyanjin Ri. Kyanjin Gompa is a decorated town where facilitated guest houses abode tired trekkers and allows a nice exploration day at the heart of the Himalayas. It has been re-established after the earthquake of 2015.
