Helambu Circuit Trek

Our today’s day is spent by sightseeing all around Kathmandu Valley. Having a breakfast we will visit Pashupatinath (regarded as the holiest temple of Lord Shiva). Next will be Bauddhanath (Little Tibet). Then Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) is our next destination.  Lastly we will drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. It will end our Kathmandu tour we will return back & make preparation for our trekking.

First day we will drive to north east of the Kathmandu valley up to sundarijal. We will climb uphill through Shivapuri National Park. In our way we will pass several villages. Walking about 3 hours we will reach to Chisapani. Wonderful views of different mountains from Chisopani can be observed.

We were tired and we will have a very good sleep. Waking up we will have breakfast and again make preparation for walking. Today our destination will be Kutumsang. We will pass through Gulbhanjyang the Sherpa, Tamang and Gurung settlement. To reach Kutumsang we need to cross the jungle and terraced fields.

Tharepati is our today’s destination. After having breakfast we will continue our walk. We climb up in a steep & eroded trail through forest of rhododendron and fir. Reaching on Tharepati, the beautiful sunset in Jugal Himal & Numbur Himal ranges in Solukhumbu with awesome views of Helmbu Valley will be observed.

At first we need to go downward slightly before climbing. From here we can enjoy the spectacular views of a little bit Annapurna & Everest regions. We will walk through forests of pine & rhododendron & reaches tiny settlement of Tarkegyang. Over here we can visit one of the oldest Buddhist Monasteries & Sherpa villages.

Early morning after having breakfast we will be ready for Sermathang. Our trail goes through flat land. We need to pass through beautiful forests & small streams. On reaching Shermathang, we will have short visit on beautiful village. Several ancient monasteries & beautiful views of Jungal Himal Range can be observed.

Our today’s walk will be the last walk of our trek. We will walk through the main trial of meadows and cultivated fields. We will cross many old villages overlooking the quite pleasant views of great mountains. After reaching Melamchi Pul Bazaar we will make preparation for returning back on Kathmandu.

Time of returning back has arisen so fast. We will return back through the different highway. Driving around four hours we will be at Kathmandu. We will be shifted toward our hotel. This will end our trekking. We have a relax night at Kathmandu.

Spending a rest night at Kathmandu, it’s a time for returning back to your home land. There will be a small farewell program for you. You will be guided all the things of returning journey by our team for your departure. Hope you will be back to Nepal to visit the remaining side of beautiful Nepal.
